Scholarships for African Nationals Based in Africa
(deadline: 25.02.2013)

If you applied for a scholarship, you are requested not to register for the conference before the results are announced.

Who Can Apply?
All African nationals based in Africa on a low income, who are working within the area of ICT-supported education and training. African employees of international organisations and global corporations cannot apply for a scholarship. The scholarship application period was open until 25.02.2013. Applications received after this date cannot be considered.

ICWE is identifying organisations willing to further subsidise the participation of African nationals based in Africa by making a number of scholarships available for delegates from Africa. The number of scholarships granted is dependent on the funds received by ICWE.

"An excellent conference as usual. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, were able to communicate our message to a large audience, and made some very useful contacts for our future work. Well done!"

Christiana Enang

Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria

“It was a well-organised conference. I enjoyed the Benin hospitality as well as networking with a lot of great people in the ICT for education and development field. Was great being part of this year's conference and look forward to eLearning Africa 2013.”

Allan Kakinda

SchoolNet/iEARN Uganda, Uganda

“After this conference, many Beninese are interested in eLearning and are aware of the advantages of technology in the educational sector.”

Nadouvi Huguette Valérie KOHOUE

Institut supérieur de formation professionnel (ISFOP), Benin

“eLearning Africa has offered me great opportunities to network with many people and enabled me to rethink how I intend to integrate ICT in my teaching. I was able to rub shoulders with my Minister of Education at this conference which would otherwise be hard back at home. Being a speaker at such a forum also exposed me to many people and I was also able to acquire more presentation skills.”
