Keith Andrew Bevan Harper

A registered Speech Therapist specialising an Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Mr Harper has been involved in Assistive Technology and Technology-Enhanced Learning for many years both at home and abroad, in both the public and private sectors. He has presented papers and workshops at a number of conferences, including the 2001 Africa Connects conference, and the 2000 ISAAC international conference. More recently he has been involved in the development of integrated communication and mobility solutions for use in rural environments, and at the beginning of 2009 took on the challenge of re-establishing a Speech Therapy and Assistive Technology unit at a school for learners with special needs in Cape Town, South Africa. He will soon be departing for England with his wife, where he will continue his work in the field of Assistive Technology.
