Fellowships for Lifelong eLearning Course at ILO Available

To enhance the learning experience and stimulate the potential to transform and innovate learning and teaching, the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) announces the second edition of a successful course on “Lifelong E-Learning. Innovative solutions”.

The course focuses on interactive technologies and communication systems and aims to stimulate a community of practice where participants meet each other across the world to improve their knowledge and efficient practice in the field of lifelong eLearning.

The course language will be English and registration is open to participants from Africa, Arab States, Asia, the Pacific, the CIS, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

During the course, participants will have the opportunity to discuss and experience issues and concepts of contemporary eLearning such as virtual learning environments, e-moderation, free and open source software, social learning, knowledge management, learning as a network phenomenon, learning (content) management systems, social software, e-learning 2.0 and e-pedagogy.

The course dates are: at a distance from November 17 - 30, face-to-face in Turin, Italy from December 1 - 5 and at a distance again from December 8 - 21, 2008.
