2nd UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Summit on Access to and Inclusion in TVET in Africa Through New ICT-Based Solutions

Event Leaders:

This event is organised by the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training in collaboration with the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in Africa (UNESCO/BREDA), the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), the German Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB) and Capacity Building International (InWEnt).

Content:

The Summit aims to highlight cutting edge developments in the use of ICT in TVET in Africa through featuring best practice examples and showcasing the possibilities of ICT in TVET. It will focus on sharing experiences and discussing strategies and implementation mechanisms for the promotion and sustainability of ICTs in TVET.

Target Audience:

TVET policymakers, practitioners, administrators, planners, researchers, teachers, teacher educators, students and colleagues in other fields interested in learning about education for the world of work from Africa and around the world.

Prerequisite Knowledge:

Interest in harnessing ICT for education for the world of work.
