We invite persons who want to discuss and become aware of how their institution can cooperate and deliver quality education within Primary, Secondary and Vocational Teacher Training by eLearning. The workshop will demonstrate how End-to-End e-learning™ within Teacher Training can use the global best practice and the local vision and how this integration works in harmony. MKFC Stockholms College works in social net communities and has been a full eLearning school for ten years. MKFC are connecting teachers and students in 142 countries to expand the classroom without expensive technology. Our experiences are that learners make important differences when eLearning in authentic environments is added for sustainable changes and role models are made visible. The use of authentic activities within online teacher training has many benefits for learners. The authentic tasks create the core of the learning. Theories are integrated with practice while teaching and learning process are running and good results can be seen at once. This is used by Finnish university teacher trainings and the results are overwhelming compared to the traditional classroom teaching. These questions will be discussed among others
The focus will be on MKFC Stockholm College, National Africa Foundation (NAF) and the participant’s practical implementations and experiences of learning for empowerment and substantial growth. |
