The eLearning Africa annual conference and exhibition, which was established in 2005, is the largest and most comprehensive knowledge sharing event for technology-enhanced education, training and skills on the African continent.

The next edition will take place in Kigali, Rwanda from May 11 – 13, 2022.

It is a global forum for everyone with an interest in education, training and skills development in Africa. In the past years it has offered thousands of professionals in education, training and development invaluable insights into the evolving world of ICT enhanced learning.

It provides a diverse, content rich and thought-provoking programme, which includes pre-conference workshops and launches, plenary sessions, debates, discovery demos, knowledge factories and an annual Ministerial Round Table, as well as a large exhibition and demonstration area hosting leading international and African educational and technology organisations.

eLearning Africa enables participants to develop multinational and cross-industry partnerships, whilst enhancing their knowledge and abilities. Since its launch in 2005, it has been hosted in different countries across the Continent (Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Zambia, Tanzania, Benin, Namibia, Uganda, Egypt, Mauritius, Rwanda, Côte d'Ivoire), bringing together over 18000 delegates from more than 100 countries.

→Ministerial Round Table

A high-level, inter-governmental meeting on ICT for education, training and skills development, taking place in conjunction with the annual eLearning Africa conference.

For the past fifteen years, eLearning Africa has convened the Ministerial Round Table alongside eLearning Africa to provide an open platform to discuss challenges and exchange knowledge about leveraging technology for education, training and skills development.

The goal of the meeting is to facilitate open dialogue and generate practical recommendations that will have real-world impact on policy drafting and implementation.
