Ghada El Khayat
Dr Ghada El Khayat is Professor and Head of the Department of Information and Computer Systems at the Faculty of Business at Alexandria University in Egypt.
She is the Principal Investigator of a number of research projects and Director of the Pedagogical Innovation and Distance Learning (ADIP) Center. Dr El Khayat has published over 50 articles in conferences and peer-reviewed journals, in addition to a few chapters in internationally published books. She has supervised more than 20 doctoral and masters thesis.
Dr. El Khayat has a very rich international experience. She is currently the president of the Scientific Council of Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
At eLearning Africa 2023, Dr Ghada El Khayat will present the launch of the EdTech incubator PILOT of Alexandria University of which she is the director. She will showcase how it can become a vehicle for African Innovative Learning and Economic Development by improving learner engagement, promoting innovation and contributing to economic growth.
Mme Ghada El Khayat est professeure et cheffe du département de l’Information et des Systèmes informatiques à la Faculté de Commerce de l’Université d’Alexandrie en Égypte.
Enquêtrice principale dans le cadre de nombreux projets de recherche, elle dirige le Centre d’innovation pédagogique et d’apprentissage à distance (ADIP). Elle a à son actif plus de 40 articles parus dans des annales de conférence et des revues avec comité de lecture, et quelques chapitres publiés à l’échelle internationale.
Lors de l’édition 2023 d’eLearning Africa, la Dre Ghada El Khayat présentera le lancement de l’incubateur EdTech baptisé PILOT et rattaché à l’Université d’Alexandrie. Elle en démontrera le potentiel à stimuler l’apprentissage innovant et le développement économique en Afrique en améliorant l’interaction des apprenants, en promouvant l’innovation et en contribuant à la croissance économique.
