Pauline Lemaire

Pauline Lemaire is a Doctoral Researcher at CMI within the project Youth in Africa: How Africa's post conflict regimes handle the African millenials. Her focus is on young people's and states' use of social media for political intervention. She is also affilitated with the Department of Comparative Politics, University of Bergen.

Prior to joining CMI, she worked as a consultant in the fields of political and security risk. She obtained a Master's degree in Democracy Building at the Department of Comparative Politics, University of Bergen, during which she focused on the role played by Internet companies during the Arab Spring. She also holds a Master's degree in International Relations, specialising in conflict analysis and peacebuilding, from Sciences Po Lille, France.
