Anna Amft is a Component Manager in the Digitalization unit under the "Climate-Sensitive Innovations for Land Management" project at GIZ Ethiopia. The unit aims to develop innovative and digital learning approaches that motivate development agents (employees of the Ministry of Agriculture) to reactivate and deepen knowledge in a gamified way so that farmers and communities can be better advised and informed.
Before joining GIZ about a year ago, Anna Amft spent eight years working in the private sector, including an international bank, where she led a small team working on change management, in particular the development of learning modules.
Anna then started a new journey in the public sector and began working as a research assistant at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at RWTH Aachen University. She dedicated herself to the topic of Digital Learning Journey and at the same time headed the Executive Master of Business Administration studies.
After a sabbatical of 4 months, Anna Amft started working as a project manager at the city of Aachen and organized and coordinated the project “DigitalPakt”. In close coordination with the 52 schools, digital concepts were developed to integrate digital media into everyday teaching and lessons to enable the switch to hybrid teaching concepts.
