I started my career as a high school teacher in 2008 at Makerere High School, Migadde in Uganda, and I am presently an ICT enthusiast at Gayaza High School. A graduate of Bsc. Education from Makerere University, and I have always loved working with students with a special focus on having them teach others using media. Having attended the eLearning Africa conference held in Kampala in 2014 and left determined to take ICT’s a step higher, I saw a need to fill the gap of teachers in creating media in school by involving students in media production. I am also currently in charge of a collaborative project between Gayaza High School, Uganda and a number of schools in the USA such as North Minus School, Riverside elementary school, Fisher Island day School; all coordinated by Level Up Village Organisation. The aim of the project is to use a 3D printer to elicit science interest among learners at an early age. This project involves designing using CAD software and online collaboration with video lettering between students in the partner schools every week. During my free time I enjoy playing football and watching my favourite team Arsenal F.C play.
