Segun Abiri

Segun Abiri is a teacher, writer, public speaker and social worker. Keenly interested in education and particularly adult education. Segun is the Founder and Executive Director of Literacy for Adult and Adult for Women Initiative (LADEWIN), an NGO with the mandate of Adult Basic Education for uneducated rural Nigeria.

LADEWIN aims at providing and promotion adult literacy and lifelong learning in rural and semi urban communities in Nigeria in order for uneducated adults to learn and through learning change their attitudes and behaviors.

Segun is also the Program Coordinator, Grand Youth Foundation, a foundation that rebrand and integrate youths. He is Co-founder, Youth Initiative for the Support and Welfare of Prison Inmates,, an Initiative that focuses on Prison Inmates.

Segun is YALI RLC West Africa fellow. He recently received scholarship attending 1st National Conference on Inclusivity, Equality and Diversity in University Education in Nigeria, Lagos 2018.
